Christy Stanton is a Senior Technical Assistance Specialist with the State Policy Team in ZERO TO THREE’s Policy Center.
In this role, Christy provides technical assistance to states to assist them in making improvements to policies and systems to better support infants, toddlers and their families. She tracks promising state initiatives to improve outcomes for young children and families, analyzes state policies and facilitates cross-state learning opportunities.
Christy holds a Master of Social Work degree and Bachelor of Arts degrees in political science and Spanish. As a social worker with nearly 25 years of experience working with children and families, she has held clinical, training and supervision positions. Christy has practiced in school, home and community-based settings primarily with children and families who speak Spanish as their primary language.
