Built for Babies: A Family Centered Approach to State Policies

The ZERO TO THREE Policy Center is excited to launch a new opportunity with states interested in building their capacity to advance family-centered policies and systems that support families with children prenatal to three.

Five states were selected to participate in the Built for Babies technical assistance project beginning in July 2023 through November 2025:

  • Arizona
  • Kansas
  • Mississippi
  • Montana
  • Tennessee

Project activities will include an in-person cross-team meeting, individualized technical assistance and virtual peer learning opportunities specific to each states’ context, and a stipend to support policy goals. More information about the goals of the project can be found in the request for application.
